RTT lead and head of contracting, performance and BI

NHS Wakefield CCG identified the need for:

  • An individual to lead the delivery of the RTT 18 week constitutional requirement (from September 2014 to March 2015), to closely manage the main provider and translate waiting list initiatives into tangible reductions in the numbers of patients waiting over 18 weeks for treatment.
  • An embedded head of service to cover the vacant position of Head of Contracting, Performance & BI (from March 2015 to November 2015). A natural step from RTT Lead knowing the issues in the area and stepping in to deliver the day to day and contracting round needs of the department and CCG as well as managing a team of NHS staff.
