We have a programme which aims to develop CCGs as intelligent clients through the achievement of the following outcomes:
An increased understanding by CCGs of the commissioning cycle and the importance of associate foundation principles e.g. decision making governance and procurement law.
An increased ability for CCGs to decide on “build, buy, share” approaches to commissioning support services and to act as “intelligent clients” in the selection and management of such services.
The programme is tailored for the desired outcomes and delivered across several tiers depending on the roles and responsibilities of the audience.
