Attain have been commissioned to develop a service model for the continuance of Prime Minister’s Challenge Fund (PMCF) from April 2016; to develop a fully costed service specification for the continuance of PMCF; and to consider incorporation within the fully costed service specification.

Attain delivered a bespoke organisational development programme to a developing primary care alliance with the ambition of being a primary care provider at scale.

Attain supported a large Primary Care Federation (c. 580k population coverage through primary care practice membership), for a period of three months to provide commercial, governance and organisational development support in parallel with their vision and ambition to be a strong and sustainable provider organisation.

Prime Ministers Challenge Fund – Wave two assessment

Overview

NHS England’s Central Team commissioned Attain in partnership with Yorkshire and Humber Commissioning Support Unit (YHCSU) to provide project management support in logging and assessing the PMCF Wave 2 applications. In addition to this secretariat support was requested across the programme.

Workforce development of GP practices

Overview

Following on from the creation of a pan-Essex workforce development group, it was identified that there were a number of GP practices within the Tendring area that were experiencing extreme difficulties in recruiting and retaining GPs. As a result, this scope of work was developed jointly by NHS England, North East Essex CCG and the LMC to support the development of general practice. The funding was provided by NHS England and Attain was commissioned to work with a cohort of nine practices, some of which were experiencing difficulties (cohort A) with the remainder being in a more stable position (cohort B).

East Riding of Yorkshire CCG

Overview

East Riding of Yorkshire (ERY) CCG had identified a number of GP practices who were interested in submitting bids to the Primary Care Infrastructure Fund. ERY CCG required support from Attain to assist and develop the bids working with GP practices. Seven practices were identified that required support. A team of three was assembled to support and deliver the work. We had 10 days to complete the bid submission.

Overview

Attain are working in partnership with Wigan Prime Minister’s Extended Access Programme Alliance. This involves collaboration across three GP Federations to deliver extended access across 64 practices within Wigan Borough. The programme is transforming current models within primary care, addressing variation in service provision, complex navigation pathways and reducing fragmentation, duplication to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
