Tell us a little bit about yourself
I joined the team in May 2016. I’m an experienced senior operational, project and programme manager in both private and public sector with the last 10 years in the NHS. I’ve been responsible for planning and delivering trust-wide strategic and business plans at income levels from £200 to £500 million over annual to five year lengths. I have extensive experience of design, and delivery, of Programme Management Offices (PMO’s), to design and undertake large scale Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) for tangible financial benefit as well as service and quality improvement with small to large scale programme management.
How have your first 30 days been at Attain?
The first 30 days have flown by from the initial couple of days of meets and greets, getting through my induction checklist and the company overview. I was then off to a client site in the second week to start on an intensive 6-week piece of work.
What attracted you to Attain?
Attain was an attraction for the variety of delivery work that is done, actually seeing things through with clients not just writing the report. The values of the company really are well impressed with the people being seen as the most important part of the company.
What’s the best thing about being employed with Attain?
The best thing about the company is the depth of knowledge and detail in all the team, but the constant willingness to share for the benefits of our clients. There are five examples of good practice for every question which allows genuine tried and tested methods to be tailored.
What do you hope the future brings for you with Attain?
Continued working with great colleagues on some tough work, but also continuing to learn and develop myself. Helping clients take some first difficult steps into the new NHS world of system and place thinking has been wonderful and I hope to help more systems work well together.
