Tell us a little bit about yourself
I have more than 20 years of experience in operational and strategic management and a strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the acute healthcare market in each of the NHS, private and ISTC environments. I also have a proven track record in complex change management working with multi-disciplinary teams, the ability to engage, create and maintain positive, collaborative and supportive professional relationships. Along with leading others to success, ensuring improvements and change are owned and sustained. My drive is to continuously improve quality, working with staff to improve and review how we deliver care, making a sustainable difference and staying patient focused.
How have your first 30 days been at Attain?
The first 30 days have gone by very quickly. A great start on day one with a new phone and laptop all fully working! A good insight given on how enjoyable it will be working for Attain and a real focus on the values, which was reassuring. The opportunity to complete the induction and start the development of the Attain network has been great. I have to say I am in in awe of the ability that every individual demonstrates, there are lots of people you can go to for information.
What attracted you to Attain?
The attraction of working for Attain was the organisations values mirrored mine including impact, transparency, wellbeing, community, responsiveness and rigour. The approach of delivering value, making a difference to the client and helping to deliver and implement plans struck a real chord. To be able to do all of this and be part of a team of likeminded people, who support each other seemed far too good an opportunity to miss.
What’s the best thing about being employed with Attain?
The best thing about being employed with Attain is being part of a team that all want to make a real difference, work hard but also enjoy and support colleagues.
What do you hope the future brings for you with Attain?
I hope the future with attain brings many successful projects that have delivered and exceeded the expected outcome and I wish to become a truly embedded team member who can be a significant part of the development and expansion in the acute hospital sector. Along with this I hope to learn and develop my knowledge and skills.
