You would join our Strategy Team. This team provides consultancy and advisory services to its customers and works closely with Attain’s other delivery focused teams (service transformation and commercial).

This role, as all other roles in Attain, will be attractive to you if you possess a desire to take ownership and deliver tangible results while making a real difference to patient outcomes across health and/or social care.

As a service delivery organisation, our staff work in a variety of locations all over England. As such you will need to be flexible with regards to travel and working away from home on a regular basis in response to customer requirements.

The role

Successful candidates will join the high performing and diverse Attain team, where they will support and advise our clients to:

  • Identify and understand their vision and objectives
  • Develop strategies to improve the health outcomes of their local populations
  • Plan how to prioritise and implement strategies in order to deliver tangible change
  • Operate as effective, high performing health organisations
  • Embed operating models, processes and structures to support delivery of service transformation
  • Manage and implement organisational change

Wider responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, and managing, relationships with senior clients teams
  • Identifying new opportunities
  • Managing the delivery of Attain project teams
  • Supporting the development of Attain’s methodologies and approaches

The individual

To be successful in this challenging and interesting strategic role you will have:

  • A proven track record of health or social care gained in either a commissioning or provider setting
  • Consulting experience, ideally gained in a blue chip consultancy organisation
  • Experience of supporting and leading teams to deliver change
  • Experience of development and implementation of strategies, plans and programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to effectively challenge across all levels
  • Proven analytical and research skills
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills
  • A successful track record of project management and programme management
  • Highly developed skills in identifying new business opportunities and writing bids and proposals

We are now recruiting talented, enthusiastic, and delivery-focussed individuals to our Service Transformation team.  To be successful you will have hands on experience of applying project management techniques and service redesign processes, be passionate about improving service user outcomes, and have a proven track record of implementing tangible change.

The team combines extensive clinical experience with commercial rigour and a robust project management approach to identify, develop, and deliver transformational change which improves service user outcomes and value for money. We work in partnership with CCGs, providers, and Local Authorities to transform health and social care economies and support the implementation of innovative new models of care, often working alongside Attain’s other delivery focused teams – Strategy & Commissioning Development, Procurement, and Contract Management to offer an end-to-end service.

The role

Successful candidates will join a high performing and diverse Attain team, where they will support our customers to:

  • work in partnership with CCGs, providers, and Local Authorities to transform health and social care economies
  • implement innovative new models of integrated care as set out in the Five Year Forward View
  • redesign and implement changes to specific patient and service user pathways
  • develop and deliver QIPP and cost improvement programmes
  • engage with patients, carers, clinicians and wider stakeholders so that they remain central to all decisions
  • establish a robust evidence-based approach which ensures that the needs of the local population are reflected

The individual

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate that they have delivered tangible improvements to patient and service user outcomes across the health and social care system.

To be successful in this challenging and interesting commissioning role, you will have:

We are looking for candidates to join our Commercial Team. This team provides transactional and transformational contract management services to its customers, often working alongside Attain’s other delivery focused teams – Strategy & Commissioning Development, Procurement, and Service Transformation – to offer an end-to-end service.

The role

  • Lead or support delivery of contract management functions
  • Advise clients on potential contract management solutions
  • Lead or support mobilisation of contracts following successful tender exercises
  • Lead or support clients on preparing for and implementing outcome based commissioning models
  • Provide rapid review and analysis of contract management functions
  • Lead or support reviews of different contract management options for clients
  • Lead or support partnership working across purchasing, finance and commissioning

The individual

To be successful in this challenging and interesting role, you will have experience in some of the following areas:

  • A proven track record of health or social care gained in either a commissioning or provider setting
  • Experience of supporting or leading  contract management functions in acute, primary care, local authority or community services
  • Understanding of or experience of development and implementation of outcomes based commissioning services
  • Experience in supporting or leading and delivery of collaborative commissioning approaches
  • Experience of working effectively with GPs and providers
  • Understanding of or experience of working with GP Federations
  • Experience of implementing different payment models
  • Experience of supporting and leading teams to deliver change
  • Experience of development and implementation of strategies and plans
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to effectively challenge across all levels
  • Proven analytical skills

Your experience may have been gained in community services, local authority, an acute provider, primary care or the private sector. Previous roles you have held may have been in contract management, performance, business intelligence, informatics, primary care liaison, bid management, or a project management office, or you may have worked as a business development manager or account manager.

We are looking to recruit Procurement Managers who will join our Commercial Team working around the UK.

The role

Working within the context of the NHS commissioning landscape, our Procurement team is leading the procurement of health services on behalf of the CCGs across different parts of the country and managing and/or working as a part of NHS teams delivering procurements, offering expert advice and guidance, and transferring skills. As a member of the team you would also be responsible for working with our clients to manage and/or advise on the effective management of markets.

Attain’s procurement teams actively engage with Clinical Commissioning Groups, care providers and Local Authorities to understand their intentions and identify the most appropriate route to deliver high quality, cost effective services and most importantly, safe care. Our highly experienced and adaptable team has a combined track record of delivering outstanding results in a wide variety of healthcare service procurements.

This is neither a pure project management nor an advisory role; this is about delivery and working with customers across the lifecycle of commissioning projects and programmes to deliver outstanding results for the public sector.

Successful candidates will join a high performing and diverse Attain team, where they will support our customers to:

  • Agree work plan priorities with customers
  • Determine best route to market for each project and identify associated risks with each
  • Lead and deliver procurement of clinical services for customers
  • Lead engagement with multiple service stakeholders, ensuring the relevant functions are appropriately represented to deliver the required outcomes
  • Apply commercial rigour to effectively measure value for money and improvement of patient care
  • Use technology and quality assured processes and documents to deliver consistently and fairly across a variety of market.
