Successful commissioning requires a range of skillsets and teamwork underpinned by a common sense of purpose - this enables delivery at pace.  Expertise is required in areas as diverse as: patient engagement, data analytics, clinical protocols, procurement  law and contract management.  Our staff are experienced professionals from both the private and public sector, drawing together deep understanding of healthcare and commercial expertise.

We recognise the role of data in transforming health services.  Health informatics and analytics will have a vital role to play in effective commissioning; providing evidence for commissioners to make confident judgements about future service provision. Establishing this level of analysis allows greater transparency with patients about how decisions have been derived and why.

We are an organisation with a strong set of values that has commercial transparency at its heart.  We will explicitly target a 10-12% net profit to provide a reasonable return to shareholders and capacity to reinvest. The business has not been created to “rip off the NHS”. Rather to deliver value to all - patients, clinicians, employees and shareholders.
