Attain has established an Associate register of experienced healthcare professionals who work with us to deliver specific requirements and further complement our service offering. We have provided some details of just a few of the experts we are working with. The role of our Associates does vary depending on the type of work we are delivering and the needs of our customers, however each individual is able to bring considerable knowledge and expertise of their specialist area to further enhance our ability to deliver against customer’s expectations.

Daniel is currently undertaking locum posts in GP practices and a variety of urgent care environments as well as clinical assistant sessions in emergency medicine. Daniel has sixteen years experience in General Practice: twelve as Principal in a GP partnership. His Urgent and Emergency care competence is derived from working over many years with the Out-of-hours services, as a Clinical Assistant in Emergency Medicine and as a volunteer with the West Yorkshire Medical Response unit and YAS BASICS. Daniel’s experience includes working with a variety of practice populations including inner-city, suburban, BME and Asylum Seekers.

Sheila has recently worked with a number of CCGs in the East of England in her role as regional clinical leadership lead; supporting the development of consortia and providing executive coaching to GP leads. A nurse by training Sheila is an engaging, strategic clinical leader and change agent who is experienced in leading programmes for Organisational Development, Clinical Leadership and Commercial Best Practice. Her career journey includes roles with acute providers, PCTs and the EoE SHA and encompasses clinical, commercial and commissioning development responsibilities. The latter includes being responsible for Organisational Development in relation to WCC and PBC for NHS Norfolk. Sheila is currently supporting several CCGs through the pre-authorisation process and working closely with the county council in creating the necessary cultural changes to support partnership working.

Mike has recently left the NHS in Rotherham after 20 years of service. For the last 15 years his prime role was to commission and contract for a range acute, tertiary and mental health services. More recently Mike was Head of Secondary Care and Local Authority Contracting. He has worked closely with Practice Based Commissioners and more recently with the newly formed pathfinder GP Commissioning Executive. For the last 10 years Mike has worked with NORCOM and more recently Yorkshire and Humber SCG in the development of specialised services.
Prior to joining the NHS worked for the engineering company Thos W Ward Ltd in Sheffield as a cost and management accountant.

Anne is a national expert in the field if NHS Continuing Healthcare being one of the six NHS/LA members of the national DH revision group of the National Framework. Her background is social care and she demonstrated partnership working at a senior management level being seconded into the NHS as NHS Yorkshire and Humber's Strategic lead for NHS Continuing healthcare for 3 years.
This background also facilitated her being a member of both the national LA and NHS reference groups on NHS Continuing Healthcare. Now an independent consultant she remains highly involved in the field of NHS Continuing Healthcare at a national level and maintains her links with the DH
