Hull Health and Wellbeing Board has set an ambitious vision for the city – a city where everyone has the opportunity to live a healthier and longer life and where children and young people will have the best start in life.
The transfer of commissioning responsibilities for services for 0–5 years from NHS England to the Hull City Council has provided us with an opportunity to further strengthen primary prevention, health promotion and early help to improve health outcomes for children, young people and families across Hull through the development of a 0–19 integrated public health model.
